What will you do?
As a Product Support Engineer, you will provide technical advice to sales teams, customers, and production sites. You act as the link between the customer and production, ensuring that products are optimized for cost-effective mass production. Using your expertise in casting, forging, CNC machining, and other techniques, you will guide products from initial design to full-scale manufacturing.
Your Responsibilities
- Advising on product modifications and production possibilities for customers in various industries.
- Guiding products from the initial design phase to mass production.
- Defining product specifications and requirements in collaboration with customers.
- Communicating with customers, colleagues, and production sites to ensure a smooth manufacturing process.
- Analyzing and solving production issues to improve efficiency and quality.
What We Are Looking For
- MBO+ (Associate degree) level in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in production or engineering.
- Analytical, driven, and decisive.
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in explaining technical concepts.
- Ability to stay organized and maintain oversight of your work.
- Proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in the metal manufacturing or processing industry is a plus!
